Syngonium plants are not just decorative, they have the ability to cleanse the air you breathe and act as anti-pollutants. Syngonium come from tropical America, where they are found from Mexico to Brazil. The center of diversity of genus is in Costa Rica and Panama, where there are a total of 16 species.

As a young plant expect arrow head shaped leaves, with strong, bold variegation. As it ages the leaves completely change shape to give a lobed finish. If juvenile foliage is preferred, cut off all the climbing stems that develop — the plant will remain bushy, rather than climb, and the leaves will be more arrow-shaped. when it comes to light requirements they will do well in a position where they receive good light but no direct sunlight.

The soil needs to be evenly moist when you water, wait for the soil to dry a little before evenly watering again.
