It resembles a ladder and grows up to 8 feet tall. The leave is oval, slightly glossy, variegated, medium green, and white-edged. They flank the zigzag stems to resemble a crooked backbone with ribs. Euphorbia tithymaloides has many common names - Variegated Devils Backbone, Japanese Poinsettia, Slipper Spurge, Redbird Cactus. This can be grown as a houseplant in any bright location. Makes a nice patio plant outdoors during warm weather.
